APRIL 14 - CONFIRMED!! Spaghetti Warehouse 689 N. Clinton St., Syracuse, NY 13210. All inclusive price will be $18 per person payable to NYSCBS and sent to Ron and Al McGay, 105 Rebecca St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Handicapped accessible, parking lot in rear. Folks may arrive around 11:30-ish, dinner is at NOON! We don't have to decide on entree until we are there. Directions (general) are from I-81. From South take exit 22, left on Genant Dr 0.4 mi, right on W. Division St 0.1 mi, left on N Clinton. From North take exit 21, left on Genant Dr 0.2 mi, right on W. Division St 0.1 mi, left on N Clinton. Myers' Gardens @ 1071 Michigan Hollow Rd. Spencer, NY Mr. Myers has a shelter where we can picnic and hold our meeting. Please bring your own lawn chair. Those who have difficulty ambulating will be able to drive to the bridge. Noon picnic and meeting at 1:00PM We are invited to wander his gardens as long as we wish both before and after the meeting. He has build his own covered bridge and gazebo. There is a lily pond and flower gardens. He also has collected over 500 bricks. We hope many will be able to attend. JUNE 9 --CONFIRMED! Halls Mills - Picnic & Meeting - Directions to the bridge: From Curry, NY on State Route 55, go north on County Route 19 for almost three miles, turn left onto Hunter Road for about 0.3 miles, park and take the abandoned road on the left to the bridge. Bring a bag lunch, beverage and lawn chairs; lunch will be at noon with a meeting to follow. Be sure to visit the NYSCBS Store and get plenty of raffle tickets on all those wonderful items! JULY 14 - Eagle Mills AUGUST 11 - CONFIRMED -- Jay Bridge with Noon picnic & 1 PM meeting. Our August 11th picnic meeting has been confirmed for Jay Covered Bridge in Jay, NY. Please bring chairs as the meeting will be outside if the weather permits or in the bridge if it doesn't. Randy Douglas, the supervisor of the Town of Jay may stop by. As far as lodging goes The Book and Blanket Bed and Breakfast is not available for that weekend. I spoke to Marlene Prescott, the owner of Brookside Motor Inn and she seemed very happy to accomodate those that might need it. Their website is www.brooksideinn.com. There is also the Ark Trail Inn but they have a 2 night minimum on the weekends if anyone is interested. If I end up setting up anything for a program I will let all you know.
