November 11,2012- Dinner meeting at Oxford Memorial Library in Oxford NY. Thanks were given to the library for letting us use their facilities for the executive meeting on Saturday as well as our dinner on Sunday. Also to Trish Kane for helping with logistics as well as food and lodging and to Vicki House for being our program. The dinner was attended by over 30 people. Business included the presentation of the new slate for 2013. Officers and trustees from 2012 were asked to stand and be acknowledged. The new slate was elected. In it's entirety we are: Donna Freeland, President Alice Bader-1st, Wayne Marshfield-2nd, David Guay-3rd vice presidents, Linda Schott-Recording Secretary, Reid Bader-Treasurer, Marcia Bailey-Corresponding Secretary Trustees are David Guay, Karen Marshfield, Marikka Guay, Alice Bader and Wayne Marshfield. As published in the last Newsletter several changes were going to be voted on and were. A by-laws change was accepted of changing the quorom from  15 to 9 members of the Society for business to be transacted. Other changes included the Courier going to only 1 printing a year in November and continuing with 3 Newsletters. There will be no page limit on the Courier and Sean will welcome stories from members during the year and will also report on the Safari which will be in September of 2013. Another change will be in an effort for complete transparency, the Executive Board and Trustees decided the Trustees would conduct a yearly audit before the November meeting starting in 2013. A proposed meeting schedule was presented with possible meeting places, with the change of dropping the March meeting due to weather uncertainty and poor attendance. The April dinner meeting will again be at the Spaghetti Warehouse in Syracuse. Several ideas were tossed around for alternative fund raising ideas to replace the money the auction used to bring in. We will be selling generic covered bridge calendars for 2013 starting at the April meeting. We discussed having a proprietary item each year, more raffles per meeting and would entertain any other ideas. There was an update on Halls Mills and Blenheim and members news. The meeting was closed and a great presentation on Covered Bridges and the Civil War was given by Vicki House.

CORRECTION: in the meeting summary for November. we need to print a correction as the 3rd VP is Bob Betler, not Dave Guay.
