Summary of April meeting. The meeting was held at the Spaghetti Warehouse in Syracuse, NY on April 11, 2010. Before the meeting and meal were started the passing of Hank Messing was announced. After the meal, the meeting was opened by thanking Al and Ron McGay for coordinating the meal reservations and communicating with the restaurant. After the reading of the March minutes Donna Freeland gave the annual report with the locations and attendance at the 2009 meetings. Some sobering facts were brought to us by treasurer Reid Bader and it is known that we will have to make some tough choices and decisions this coming year. If you have any ideas please let one of the Board members or officers know. It was discussed and voted on that due to the costs of printing and mailing that there will be an increase in dues for the fiscal year 2011. We discussed the safari details and the fact that we only have 28 people signed up and that there would be a tour of the Cabot Creamery and a maple sugaring farm. There was a small amount of news about covered bridges in other states and the passing of Florence Adelman. 36 people attended the dinner.
