The July Meeting was held inside the Blenheim Covered Bridge in North Blenheim, NY and it was at least 15-20 degrees cooler in there than outside in the park. A lot more people came through as tourists, however, than members present but we had good fun eating our picnic lunches, talking and going over things on the agenda even though we couldn't vote on anything. We discussed the calendar photo contest winners. We talked about future meetings, including trying to think of some unique items liked baked goods or services offered for the auction since so many members are downsizing rather than wanting anything new. Scott Wagner was personally thanked for keeping the covered bridge enthusiasts informed on Face Book. We also discussed the donation to the Theodore Burr Resource Center which will be brought up and voted on in August or September.
