Meeting summary July 10, 2011 @ Newfield CB, Newfield 

The meeting started with the reading of the minutes and the treasurer's report.   A report was given on the grand opening of the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Resource Center.   Upcoming events were gone over including Donna's 60th Birthday Celebration, the August 14th meeting at Camillus Erie Canal Park and the Sept. 11th auction with again please reminding the membership that this is our largest fund raising of the year and to please limit donations to 10, very resalable items.

    New business included the 2012 calendars which are now available and are getting rave reviews. I know the holidays will be a struggle for all of us but calendars make great gifts and are only $10 each. The nominating committee was set up with Alice Bader, Jeanette Wilson and Linda Schott "volunteering". Membership is asked for suggestions for next year's meetings.

    There was a little news on other state's covered bridges and in news of members the Society sends it's thoughts and prayers to Bonnie Shultz in the loss of her husband
